Thomas Jefferson letter to Martha Jefferson Randolph [manuscript], 1804 November 6.

Jefferson writes to his daughter about his decision to run for a second term despite his longing to return home "the unlimited calumnies of the federalists have obliged me to put myself on the trial of my country by standing another election." Sends messages to Anne Randolph and to Ellen Randolph for whom he has bantams. Also sends a magazine and notes that Mr. Randolh has arrived in Washington.
